Jones Has Knee Procedure
By Randy Renner
Thunder backup forward Perry Jones III will miss the next 4-to-6 weeks of his off-season training after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.
The procedure had been previously scheduled to cleanup a couple of areas and is not believed to be the result of any injury Jones suffered at the Orlando Summer League.
In fact Jones looked outstanding at times in Orlando where he averaged 12.3 points and 5.3 rebounds in the four games he played and finished summer league with 20 points and eight rebounds in OKC's last game against Miami.
Last season, Jones played in 62 games, averaging 12.3 minutes of playing time per contest. He averaged 3.5 points and 1.8 rebounds in those games.
