Nothing is official yet but numerous sources are saying and several media outlets are reporting that Thunder superstar Kevin Durant has been voted the NBA's Most Valuable Player.

Durant is expected to have beaten out LeBron James by a wide margin and may in fact have garnered all the first place votes.

The official announcement could come as early as Monday but a news conference featuring Durant and NBA and Thunder officials wouldn't happen until Tuesday, an off day in the upcoming Western Conference semi-finals.

Durant would be the first MVP who was also that same season's scoring champion since Alan Iverson in the 2000-01 season.

Durant had his best season in 2013-14, winning the scoring title by averaging 32 points a game on 50 percent shooting. He also pulled down 7.4 rebounds and handed out 5.5 assists a game.

He finished off the first round playoff series against Memphis with a flourish, scoring 69 points on 64.7 percent in Games 6 and 7 combined.
