Warriors Will Rest Bogut And Iguodala

By Randy Renner

The Thunder will catch a little bit of a break tonight against the Warriors. Coach Steve Kerr will sit both center Andrew Bogut and swingman Andre Iguodala.

The Warriors are in the middle of a difficult stretch of their schedule playing five games in the span of six and a half days (the play a day game in Denver Monday) and so Kerr wants to give them a night off.

However, Bogut's replacement is Mo Speights and if you remember Speights went off for 28 points when Golden State came in here back in November.

Thunder head coach Scott Brooks says he has everyone available tonight (except for Mitch McGary who is still out with injury) so none has been pulled in advance of a trade.

Brooks wouldn't comment on all the rumors about Brook Lopez perhaps coming here and Kendrick Perkins and Jeremy Lamb perhaps moving to the Nets.

He did say though that despite the rumors he knew Perk would handle everything in a professional manner.

Latest word now is the deal is off. The Nets have backed away from the deal the Thunder were proposing (Perkins and Lamb) and are now checking incoming offers from other teams.

With the trade deadline still weeks away (February 19th) it's still very possible that deal or something similar could go down.

Tonight's game is on both ESPN and Fox Sports Oklahoma. As usual we will be here and will have a complete report from the interview room and the lockerroom and you can get live updates from reporters her at The Peake by checking out our Twitter feed page.
